Torchstar's eyes rounded on an approching she-cat. He hissed as he saw that she was ScorchClan, this was not going as well as the orange tom thought it would go.... Tail lashing out, Torchstar made a move to get out of the way, but was buffled by the she-cat's strong fore-arms as he was tackled to the ground.
The tom's ears were flat on his head as he rolled with the she-cat, kicking with his back legs to get her off. Mean while, he felt the paws of Fangpaw on his back, and felt teeth sink into his neck, thankfully not enough to leave too much damage, but it hurt. Growling in pain, Torchstar glared at the ScorchClan warrior he was fighting, "Your one to talk." He hissed at her angrily, rolling away as he re-balanced himself, panting hard. Atleast their were only two, he just prayed that it would stay only two. The ScorchClan cats were still out-numbered though...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oakstripe stared at Snowpaw seconds longer before looking back toward where the cats fought on. He moved to help, but paused as he saw a flash of fur come from a shrub on ScorchClan territory. His eyes flashed in fear as Torchstar was pounced on by both cats now. He hissed and flung himself into the cattalwall of claws and fur. Eyes blazing as he thought about nothing but his hate for ScorchClan. "ScorchClan scum!" He yowled, claws out as he tackled the she-cat warrior from the side roughly. He was able to get her off of a struggling Torchstar, and they both were rolling toward the edge of the border.
Oakstripe caught the she-cat's blazing blue eyes, and he felt no fear, just determination to defend his clan. "Go back to your blood-stained camp." He snarled, showing his teeth as he dug his claws into the she-cat's shoulders, pinning her to the ground as they stopped rolling.

BIC: Fangpaw jumped off of Torchstar and at Oakstripe. He started something he intended to finish. One way or another. He landed in front of Oakstripe. "I will enjoy killing you!" He spat with a crazy look in his eyes. He was about to attack when he realized how outnumbered he was and if he lost he would never see Fallenangel again. He turned and walked across the border. "I will be back! You can count on that!" He spat before vanishing from sight.

"I have yours to take instead!" She spat before sliding out from under the tabby warrior and disappearing behind the tall reeds cloaking the small clearing. She easily found her way back to ScorchClan's border, which wasn't far from where they were. ScorchClan were pushing IvyClan and StreamClan into tighter and tighter territories, soon all their land would be lost and they would work for ScorchClan's massive ranks... But all that hate, anger... It all seemed like too much... Frostfire closed her eyes tightly, wishing it all would go away... ------------------------------------------------------------- Snowpaw hauled herself up and padded to her mentor and Oakstripe, her head hanging. "Sorry I let them get away, Torchstar." She said sadly, her voice tinged with disappoint. "I'll make sure not to let you down again, I promise."

Oakstripe hissed as the she-cat ran off. coward He thought as he watched her white tail disappear from sight. He let the breath he was holding in exhale as he relaxed, he shook his head as he scented the traces of the ScorchClan feline on his chest. "Yuck." He murrmered, ears flicking as he stood where he was and watched to see if she had really gone.
she didn't put up much of a fight....for a ScorchClan warrior, I thought she would... Oakstripe thought, eyes narrowing as the breeze carried the she-cats scent over the moor and toward him.
His nose wrinked momently, but he realized that she didn't smell all too bad, not like that other small ScorchClan cat did. She had a, sweeter scent, like a type of flower you'd find in the grove. The russet furred tom stared blankly toward the direction the white she-cat ran and felt unusually warm inside.
mouse-dung, what's with me? He thought, his eyes turning back to their slitted state as he sook his thick mane sharply to rid the scent somehow. It seemed to be making him dizzy. she better not come back... Oakstripe thought to himself, the protection of his clan being more of an issue here at the moment as he turned slowly to see Snowpaw padding forward.
Torchstar stood up with a slight hiss as he watched Fangpaw retreat. He'll be back...I know he will... The young tom thought, his thoughts dark as he stared angrily at the ScorchClan territory beyond. He stopped his hostile ways as Snowpaw approached, he watched as her eyes were dull with a sadness he didn't understand. His tail twitched as he listened to her. "You didn't let me down, you fought bravely and protected your clan. They won't be back here." at least I hope...
His tail flicked, "Besides, you don't battles by not showing mercy, let them run. It was a wise move on their part, they were out-numbered and did what any smart cat would do. And for ScorchClan cats, that's a plus." He meowed, his voice showing a hint of jokeness at the end. His face broke into a crooked smile as he touched his nose to the white she-cat's ear. "I'm very proud of you." He murmmered to her softly, his orange eyes showing affection and tiredness from the battle. He waited a moment before pulling away.

Frostfire couldn't take her mind off the brown tabby StreamClan warrior. He made her feel different then ever before... she didn't like it, the needing feeling that he had to be by her side, she pushed her thoughts away as she approached the ScorchClan border.
"I'm sorry, Fallenangel, but we were outnumbered. Another came, and he was strong." Frostfire said through gritted teeth, trying to push the StreamClan tom farther from her mind. Fallenangel glided seeminglessly across the dark tainted land of ScorchClan. Her paws being shades of the night, flickering unseen over the jagged earth. She had made it the ScorchClan's border with StreamClan easily, and she sat down, wrapping her pitch-black tail over her paws. I am a ghost in the night, no one can see me, or hear me, I am the ruler, anyone who dares defy that, will face the consequences
"It's okay, my dear Frostfire, all will fold out within time..." Fallenangel said coolly, her voice tinged with a dark tone. "But you... Fangpaw. I am your mentor, correct?" Without giving him time to respond she continued. "Then next time before running off to play revenge or doing anything that I have not given you orders for, you won`t get off so easily. Your warned, now don't let it happen again." She turned around, her eyes burning with . Snowpaw quivered slightly at Torchstar's touch, it warmed her, sent shivers down her back. Sparks seemed to fly from the touch, it was electrifying. Her ear seemed to get colder as he pulled away, she wanted to wrap her body around him and feel that way again, but she somehow kept herself from moving. Thank you, Torchstar... Her mind hummed at his praise, her voice was too shaken to speak, not from the battle, but from her orange tabby leader.

Fangpaw stood beside his mentor. "Then why don't we do some training or something. So that I can get my revenge without you helping or scolding me afterwords!" He looked across the border at StreamClan territory. "I just don't understand why Deathstar doesn't just organize a battle patrol to waste every StreamClan cat and claim their territory. It makes me sick to just think about their survival. If I had my way they would be long gone!"

Oakstripe watched the exchange between mentor and apprentice and couldn't help but feel a prickle of admiration. He wished he had an apprentice to share a special connection with. And he also wanted to be able to at least train one apprentice in his life-time.
The russet furred tom blinked and looked over the border once more, tail twitching in thought.
Torchstar could tell by his apprentice's speechless form that she was alright with his appreciation. His tail twitched and he shook his ginger fur, as to rid the scent of the rival cats that had once been here. He let out a sigh and looked at Oakstripe, "Head on back to camp, alert Nightwhisker of this, she will have to send out an extra patrol tonight." He meowed to the young warrior, he turned back to Snowpaw without looking back at the tom.
"You must be tired; we'll hunt and then get back to camp." He suggested to her as the russet furred tom disappeared through a shrub. Torchstar padded past Snowpaw calmly, his broad head glancing over to her expectantly.

"Fangpaw, enough!" Fallenangel growled harshly, annoyance was crawling up her spine as she thought about his stupidity and immaturity. She had little faith in him to one day become well-known and feared throughout the Clans of nothingness unless he grew out of this funk he was in. I was never this bad as an apprentice, I shouldn't have been, I was trained by the best "Okay... and, thanks," She added hesitantly as she padded after him, her dusty white tail swishing over the earth below her. "Thanks for believing in me." She finished, a burst of warmth fluttered in her stomach, it made her feel nervous and happy and confused and a little sad all at once.
She began to follow Torchstar through the forest, she felt something land on her nose, it was cold and matched her pelt. Crossing her eyes to see more clearly, she easily found out what it was. "Snow! Look! Its snowing!" Snowpaw yelled joyfully and began bouncing around like a little kit again. It was her first time seeing the little white flakes, she had only been told of their beauty by her mother, she had always wanted to see them for herself, and now she was! I was named after them... Snowpaw thought wonderfully, amazed at everything they were. Her neck was stretched to look up at the cloudy gray sky as the little white flakes fell rhythmatically from somewhere above. "Where does it come from?" She asked, tilting her head, her bright blue gaze lit up, focusing in on her mentor.

Fangpaw glared at his mentor. "Who died and made you leader? Just because you are my mentor doesn't mean you can tell me what I can and can't say!" He growled. I do like it when a cat takes charge though. He stood up. "Can we at least do some training?"

Torchstar listened as Snowpaw's quick steps sounded just behind, and his head glanced to the side as she spoke. Of course he believed in her, she was his apprentice after all. His tail twitched in a silent welcome and he turned calmly back to the front.
As they moved onward, he felt something wet and cold on his pink nose. He blinked and stopped breifly to see that it was snowing, perfect time to say the least. He was surprised, yet glad to see Snowpaw having a blast seeing the snow. He realized that it was her first time seeing it.
Whiskers twitching in amusment, the young leader purred breifly at her bouncing form. He shook off another snowflake that fell on his head and stood there watching Snowpaw, his eyes thoughtful. It was quite interesting, it was snowing, and her name was Snowpaw. Quite a fine name, to be named after a form of precipitation. She was quite like himself at the moment. The ginger tom remembered when he was an apprentice, and when the snow fell he always got all bubbly (atleast, more bubbly than usual) and hopped around like a gleeful rabbit. It was quite a sight to see, now at his age of a leader and all.
Torchstar sat down as Snowpaw questioned about the snow, he batted at the snow with one pale paw thoughtfully and thought over his answer quickly. "The sky of course." He replied casually, grinning over at the she-cat.
He chuckled, "What a silly question coming from an apprentice such as yourself Snowpaw." He purred, eyes twinkling, "You were named after the snow after all, you should know where it falls from." He meowed smoothly, staring at Snowpaw with teasing eyes.

Fangpaw needs to be taught who the boss is... he wants to act this way, I'll teach him, a lesson he won't forget "Fangpaw, did Deathstar not make me deputy a few sunrises ago?" Once again giving him no time to answer.
"And being your mentor does mean that I am in charge of you, as your deputy and mentor. You will follow my orders and I will tell you what to say. If you have a problem with that you will take it up with Deathstar, and I am sure that he would be in agreement with me. Besides, if your not willing to listen to our orders then maybe we should just throw you out, I'm sure StreamClan won't want you... You'll be homeless." A smirk was covering Fallenangel's face.
"But what if it does come from somewhere else... somewhere magical!" She said running around, her tongue out, trying to catch the cold little white flakes.

Fangpaw glared at Fallenangel. "He will agree with me when I bring up how little you train me! It is your duty as my mentor! It is not your duty to sit around and scold me when you haven't taken an interest in my training! Ever! You say I should listen to you, but why? Why should I listen to you giving me reasons we are not training!" He spat with an angry look on his face.

Torchstar shurgged, "It could be possible...but no cat knows for sure." He answered back, shaking the dusty white powder off his paw. He blinked as Snowpaw tried to catch one of the flakes on her tounge, "My mother told me once, that if you find two snow-flakes that look exactly alike, you earn one wish." He meowed as he thought back to his past years. He drew a paw over his ear, as he waited for her reply.
